Black Oxygen

Black Oxygen is an alternative rock pop band formed by David Lyle based in Los Angeles, CA. The band has released two Albums "Beating Time" and "The American Dream".
==Formation==
Formed in Kansas City by David Lyle now based in Los Angeles, Black Oxygen’s constant success and growth comes from a combination of hard work, musical talent, and drive. This is achieved by frontman David Lyle (Singer/Songwriter/Lead Guitarist), along with his brother, Nick Lyle (Drums/Keyboards/Programming). In 2010 David's Vocal/Lead Guitar/Songwriting abilities caught the attention of music industry specialists in Atlanta after winning Banzai's Outstanding Guitarist and 1st place in battle of the bands contest Club Wars in the midwest, David was soon invited to LA to watch the process of actor/musician Jamie Foxx's album recording, being introduced and making friends with several worldwide know producers and high ups in the music business. In 2011 Black Oxygen was spotted by former Strange Music artist Kutt Calhoun, and together they released a collaborative track, “Pressure.” In 2012 Black Oxygen released their debut album “The American Dream.” The first two singles, “Take It to the Limit,” and “The American Dream” reached #59 and #48, respectively, on active rock radio charts. “Take It to the Limit” was also used by ESPN during broadcast and “The American Dream” made it to #12 on the Billboard Hot Single Sales chart. 2014 saw the release of their sophomore album, “Beating Time" (released on their own Independent Label Dreamstreet Records). The lead single, “Livin' the Life” went on to reach #14 on active rock radio charts and the corresponding video on YouTube has earned nearly one million views to date. That same year they joined up with rapper Irv Da Phenom and released a single titled “Madman,” which premiered along with its music video on HipHopDX. Each album has independently sold over 30,000 copies (physical/digital). They have toured over 200 shows in the USA, one of the highlights being Rockfest in Kansas City, a one day music festival of 65,000 people. Black Oxygen’s fanbase continues to constantly expand as they enter their third album, “The Times of Our Lives,” recently recorded with producer Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Framing Hanley’s “Lollipop”). The album contains 15 solid tracks with an updated alternative rock/pop direction along with a fresh, clean look to break mainstream radio worldwide. Armed with the final album mixes and a music video for the lead single, “Everything,” major labels very excited, the band is waiting it out seeking the right major label to partner with the highest bid to present this to the world.
